Our rods can be incredibly complex , time consuming and difficult to build as we make them as perfect and unique as possible . we Specialise in 3D resin parts - they are durable and made to last and give your rods a truly exceptional look - to us this is what rod building actually means . We started this venture as we were so bored with plain off the shelf options available from other rod building company's and questionable quality
We mainly use rod blanks from harrison advance rods , the Torrix, aviator, acurix, ballista and trebuchet . We also use other brands like fishingart and CTS blanks
Every set of carp rods are made to as matching precision as possible, every guide is spaced the same on each rod and perfectly straight in line, every handle is the same length on each matching custom rod . Every guide wrap epoxy is perfectly level and bubble free . All custom parts are the same matching dimensions .

What makes a resilure custom rod so special?
Well , We offer the most unique and fully custom parts available probably anywhere in the world , so lets start with reel seats
FUJI,
We use reel seats from fUJI , like the DPS and VSS but we don't just do bog standard factory options , we can fully customise the DPS with a resin based insert ( which we can use a whole variety of materials inside before we permanently set in resin ) it is also uniquely and complexly shaped by enlarging the insert to come flush with the hoods , making an extremely comfortable seat to hold and securely holding the reel , which is its primary function after all . The vss seat can be painted in a variety of colours and matched up with a fully hand shaped cork grip
ALPS ,
Another popular well made aluminium seat , but in its raw form it does not flex , which can result in a snapped blank ( the reason some rod builders don't offer or recommend them ) they also require special fitting ( as lots come loose due to improper fitting ) but rather than accept the floors of the seat we overcome the issues . Firsty we make ours semi flexible by adding a flex point between the screw and the body allowing the blank to flex how it wants to . But we don't stop there ! We then can create a fully custom resin based insert , again with a variety of materials can be used inside to create a true custom look . We even managed to incorporate the alps logo still on the underside! This process also makes the seat 15% lighter as we remove the heavy metal body of the seat ( it also makes it more comfortable to hold in the heat or cold compared the original aluminium version . We also implement the use of graphite arbors to fit the seat to insure a solid and lasting fit ( we don't use masking tape to fill the gap between the seat and blank like all the other builders do, which can move and take on water over time loosing the strength in fit)
We have also introduced a new style alps skeleton seat, completely unique to Resilure custom rods ( again with custom resin insert) which has a straight profile for a seamless comfortable hold.

THE OTHER CUSTOM PARTS
To compliment the reel seats we offer custom grips , butts and foregrips which are also extremely unique to resilure . There are several shapes to choose from including the ergonomic rear butt grip . This can be made in resin form or with shrink wrap in the same shape . We also offer smaller butts like the 18p and cork flare end . We also can make matching foregrips for each type of reel seat with a seamless perfect fit
We also offer cork - non resin based options but again fitted in an exacting way for strength and durability
