A new blank available here at resilure in limited supplies so reserved only for special custom builds , 5ft s-glass , 2 piece , 1-5g , can be built BFS or spinning style, can also be shortened slightly if required. Its a tad lighter at (17g) than our 3 piece model (23g) due to thinner walls and is also a little more through action
This particular handle build was made from a beautiful block of maple burl which was dyed in a really nice green . This was then turned into the custom parts for the handle including 3d trout in the butt cap , the entire rod's weight is amazingly just 95g due to our unique and special weight saving build techniques , thats less than a bag of Maltesers !
The guides are fuji rare and special attg in t2 gunmetal finish . These were then ghost wrapped (invisible thread) with a lime green lace wrap , perfectly done with no bubbles or grinding of the guide feet and no visible thread tag ends on the decorative overwrap , not an easy task.
The reel seat is a complimenting gunmetal grey to match the guides and the trim rings on the handle parts
The icing on the cake was a matching knob for the reel , with its own 3d trout set in resin , and a custom made suede sock for storage of the rod
